- Heating Source is required and must be 100% functioning. If a home has one source of heat and it is from a pellet stove or wood stove, it will need central heating system.. Ask your trusted lender for more specifics if uncertain.
- Paint-no peeling paint.
- Roof-missing or curling shingles will be flagged.
These are some of the items that can come up with the buyer's appraisal when it comes back; after you have listed your home and received an offer on it. Heading off issue before the appraisal will help things go smoother when that appraisal comes back. If you can take the time to address these possible issues by talking with your trusted Realtor things will go much smoother at the end of this process.
